Human Resources Intern
 Position:  Human Resources (HR) Intern
 Reports To:  HR Leader
 Department:  HR
 Target Grade:  NA
 Direct Reports:  N/A
 Location:  Ho Chi Minh City

POSITION PURPOSE
Co-ordinate and administer HR documentation, training and development programmes for the organisation's staff for professional delivery of HR services to the business

 HRBusiness Partner, Compensation & Benefits Manager, Learning & Development Manager & HR Business Partner  
 Managers/Supervisors/Accountants  
 All employees in MSD in Vietnam  

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Learn to lead intern recruitment projects @ Vietnamese universities
  • Learn to co-ordinate orientation programs for new hires
  • Learn to prepare HR-related reports, including headcount reports, turnover reports, organisational chart, to name a few
  • Learn to provide HR consultation to employees and management

EXPECTATIONS

  • High customer service delivery and positive and courteous communication with all (internal and external) parties
  • Develops and implements services to assist in delivering better value to customers
  • Works across the business as needed delivering projects on time and with high quality

QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Experience and education

  • University students going into their final year of studies after the summer break, preferably in the Human Resources or related discipline, with good academic results

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Competent in English and Vietnamese language
  • Some knowledge of Human Resource Management practices, Business Management or Organizational Development
  • Ability to work within a complex, fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish productive partnerships and working relationships to maximize business outcomes
  • Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office software
